Scott Statement on Shooting in Richmond

NEWPORT NEWS, VA – Congressman Robert C. "Bobby" Scott issued the following statement on the shooting at the Richmond Greyhound station:

"I was saddened to learn of the senseless and tragic shooting at the Greyhound bus station in Richmond today. This inexplicable act of violence is a painful reminder of the fact that our law enforcement officers put their lives on the line each and every day to protect our communities. My thoughts and prayers are with the family of the Virginia State Trooper killed in the line of duty."
