Scott Statement on Introduction of Articles of Impeachment Against Attorney General Holder

WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Robert C. "Bobby" Scott (VA-03), a senior member of the House Judiciary Committee, released the following statement on H.Res. 411, articles of impeachment against Attorney General Eric Holder:

"I am disappointed that several of my colleagues chose to introduce articles of impeachment against Attorney General Eric Holder. It is clear that these articles were introduced to advance nothing more than a partisan agenda. It is my hope that Members of the House of Representatives will not waste their time considering them."
