Scott Statement on Congresswoman Jennifer Wexton

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Bobby Scott (VA-03), the dean of the Virginia Congressional Delegation, issued the following statement on Congresswoman Jennifer Wexton’s (VA-10) decision to not run for re-election:

“Jennifer Wexton has dedicated the last two decades of her life serving the citizens of the Commonwealth of Virginia as a prosecutor, state senator and now congresswoman. During that time, she has been a relentless advocate for bettering the lives of children and families and fighting for the interests of her constituents. I admire her strength as she continues her work in Congress and focuses on her health.”
