Scott Receives Champion of Community Development Award

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Bobby Scott (VA-03) received the Champion of Community Development Award from Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC). Congressman Scott was recognized for his commitment to supporting policies that improve social and economic outcomes in local communities.

“I was honored to be named a Champion of Community Development by LISC,” said Congressman Scott. “Since my time serving in Virginia’s General Assembly, I have been focused on leveraging resources, so we can develop exceptional communities for people to enjoy as they live, work and raise their families. I look forward to our continued work together.”

LISC is a non-profit that connects public and private resources with underinvested communities.
