Scott to Hold Health Care Town Hall in Petersburg

NEWPORT NEWS, VA – Congressman Robert C. "Bobby" Scott will hold a health care town hall in Petersburg on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Congressman Scott will be joined by Jill Hanken, a Health Attorney who manages the Navigator program at the Virginia Poverty Law Center, and Jodi Manz, Policy Advisor for the Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources. The town hall will provide an overview of the Affordable Care Act, the enrollment process, and other health care initiatives at the federal and state levels. Marketplace Open Enrollment for 2015 runs from November 15, 2014 to February 15, 2015. Constituents will also have the opportunity to ask questions and share their concerns. This event is free and open to the public.
