WASHINGTON, DC – The Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA), a non-profit and non-partisan organization that advocates on behalf of Iraq and Afghanistan veterans and their families, recently released their legislative scorecard for the 111th Congress listing Congressman Robert C. "Bobby" Scott as a member of IAVA's "A Team."
"I am honored to be listed on IAVA's A-Team for my support of Iraq and Afghanistan veterans and their families in the 111th Congress," said Rep. Scott. "It is our solemn obligation as a nation to honor and care for our veterans when they return home from combat. Although we have made significant progress in the 111th Congress, the task of paying back our veterans and their families for their service and sacrifices will always continue to be a top priority."
