Scott to Host Telephone Town Hall on COVID-19

NEWPORT NEWS, VA – ON THURSDAY, April 30th, Congressman Bobby Scott (VA-03) hosted a telephone town hall on the continued spread of COVID-19. The purpose of this call was to inform constituents of what Congress, the Administration and the Commonwealth of Virginia are doing to limit the spread of COVID-19. Congressman Scott provided an overview of recently passed legislation and supports available to individuals, families, students, workers, and small business owners. Congressman Scott was joined by health experts and officials from the Internal Revenue Service, the Small Business Administration, and the Virginia Employment Commission.
