Capitol Tours Suspended
Capitol Tours
The Capitol Visitor Center has temporarily suspended all public tours of the U.S. Capitol Building until further notice. As a result, my office will not be able to conduct or schedule Capitol tours until further notice. White House tours will remain temporarily unavailable until the Biden Administration determines their tour policies and procedures and announce a reactivation date.
Other Washington, D.C. area tourist attractions closed as result of the Coronavirus public health emergency:
- Arlington Cemetery. Public access temporarily suspended.
- National Cherry Blossem Festival: All events CANCELLED
- Pentagon Building. Public tours temporarily suspended.
- Smithsonian Institution. All Smithsonian museums are closed at this time.
- Library of Congress. Public access temporarily suspended.
- National Archives. All exhibits are closed at this time.
- Bureau of Engraving and Printing. Public tours temporarily suspended.
- Holocaust Museum. Public access temporarily suspended.
- U.S. Supreme Court. Public access temporarily suspended.
- FBI. Public tours temporarily suspended.
- Treasury Building. Public tours temporarily suspended.
- Kennedy Center. Public performances and events temporarily suspended.
- State Department. Public tours temporarily suspended.
- Ford’s Theatre. Public access and performances temporarily suspended.
